Faith Check Up: 7 Scriptures to Refuel Your Faith
Have you done a faith check up lately?
I mean like really thought about what it means to have faith?…For some people that may be an easy question, but for some of us, it may be a little more challenging.
Our faith should be what drives our daily lives. We should be expecting to see God in every part of our day.
I like the Toby Mac song “Everything”. He says “I see you in everything little thing all day.” I love that!
I want to get to the point where I see God in EVERYTHING.
I want to see Him in my conversations, in my writing, in my relationships.
I have faith that this is possible.
We try to do things on our own and get frustrated before we finally realize we’re just spinning our wheels.
When I think about all the things we need to have faith for the list goes on and on.
I just decided that everything that comes up, I’ll just need give it to God. That’s all I can do. There’s so much going on in the world only He can handle it.
Have you the read scripture Ephesians 3:20? It reads, “Now unto Him who is able to do immeasurably more that we ask or imagine, according His power that works within us.”
Do we really believe that God can do “immeasurably” more than we imagine or ask?
That means we could never measure what He can do or how He does it?
We can’t think of God as we think of man. We have to remember His thoughts and ways are not like those of man. No man is comparable to him.
God is able to do above all that we ask or imagine.
I’m sure a lot of us can say “Well, He didn’t do this for me.” I know that I’ve had prayers that weren’t answered the way I wanted them to be answered. There are some things God simply said no on. I don’t understand it, but I trust Him.
And just because it didn’t happen when I wanted it to that doesn’t mean He can’t do the impossible. No matter what, He deserves our faith.
When we put our faith in Him continuously He will show us that He’s God.
It seems like this life is making new rules every day. There is always something new we need to have faith to get through. It could be a car or a house. It could be for a family member’s health or our own health.
The Bible is rich with scripture to remind us to have faith.
I want to share some verses with you that I find encouraging and helpful when it comes to giving myself a faith check up.

FAITH THAT YOU ARE GIFTED THE GRACE OF GOD
EPHESIANS 2: 8-9 FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH. AND THIS IS NOT YOUR OWN DOING; IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT A RESULT OF WORKS, SO THAT NO ONE MAY BOAST. ESV
FAITH THAT GOD PROVIDES STRENGTH WHEN WE NEED IT.
PHILIPPIANS 4:13 I CAN DO ALL THINGS THOUGH HIM WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
FAITH THAT HE WILL ANSWER PRAYER

FAITH TO TRUST HIM
PSALM 46:10 BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. I WILL BE EXALTED AMONG THE NATIONS, I WILL BE EXALTED IN THE EARTH!”
CONCLUSION
No matter where we are in our walk with God, He honors us for having faith.
Not every prayer will be answered the way we want. There are some things God may give the answer No.
But our responsibility is to put our trust in Him. He deserves our trust.
We have to remember He’s the omniscient one. He sees beyond what we can see.
If we just have faith that He will do what’s best for us.
We’re here to glorify Him and that’s what’s most important.
I have faith that you’re going to have a joyful day. You’re in my prayers! ❤️
